I once wrote in my facebook quotes as following: The two most difficult things to predict in this planet are protein folding and women’s behavior. Advances in science and technology have convinced me enough that is possible to circumvent the protein folding problem later if not sooner. But the other one? That’s a billion dollar question.
Let’s take a deeper look into the second difficult thing in this world – predicting women’s behavior. Is it possible for a man who has even spent a big chunk of time with a woman can understand her? Is she that difficult than say calculating the free-energy of desolvation during ligand binding using computer methods? Not at all. What makes the attempt futile is the innate nature of the problem itself rather than the intellectual capacity of the problem-solver. Sometimes even these gals cannot explain why they behave the way they behave. Take this from me for granted. I have witnessed several times during several different instances and convinced myself enough about this. Guys keep wondering why they can’t find out ‘What women want’ so that they can keep their loved one(s) happy all the time. One of my favorite movies encompasses about this concept. Well, hold on a second, guy. What makes you think the women actually know what they want before you attempting to find what they want. Do you guys honestly believe women who look so organized when viewed externally can actually frame things in their mind and consistent and have a rational for everything they do? No, not at all. Matching your frequency with that of the women’s is not possible in a longer run. We should make a movie titled ‘Do women actually know what women want’? We need Mel Gibson & Helen Hunt to cast in it once we figure out the answer.
